ABOUT ME I grew up on a small hobby farm in Eastern Ontario Canada. I’d give you the name of the town but I haven’t one. We lived between towns, off an old dirt road aptly called “Boundary Road”. We had 30 acres of field and farmland and i was completely immersed in the natural world. When I was two I had a pet chicken who I pushed around in a stroller. When i was six, I had my own kid goat which I named after my grandmother. I even had a pony who allowed me to perform circus tricks on her back while she lazily grazed on our lawn. My parents, both creative people, raised 4 children on our little hobby farm and I was lucky enough to have art supplies at my finger tips anytime i wanted them, which was pretty much everyday! By kindergarten I knew I wanted to be a professional artist. I didn't have a lot of modern toys or fancy clothes, but a blank sheet of paper and an environment which allowed my imagination to run wild was all I really needed. Even today my childhood continues to provide me with inspiration... About_files/Book%20award.jpg
